Anxiety both diagnosed and undiagnosed runs in my family. I would venture to say that just being Black in America is cause to be anxious much of the time.
Let us not fall prey to temptation based on what we think we know is good or best. Let us be truly open to God’s will.
We are in the midst of the season of Lent. A season when we seek to mimic the life of Jesus on earth.
Let us be disciplined in this year of 2020, and let us seek peace and righteousness and God's favor, in Jesus’ Name!

The first time I came across this beautifully written prayer, I felt as if it were my own. I was reminded of how my grandmother used to regularly write down her prayers.
